CAD Drafting
Tweed Coast Design and Drafting is a C.A.D. (Computer Assisted Drafting) service and has been since 1997. Our plans are created on a computer using AutoCAD software and printed to hard copies (sheets of paper) if required. We have A3 size printing in-house or can arrange printing to larger size sheets.
Drawing files can be electronically transmitted as AutoCAD .dwg, .dfw or .dxf files, as .pdf or .wmf graphics files. These files can be imported into other drawing programs (AutoCAD and other formats). This allows easy transfer of files to and from consultants eg: engineers, Energy Efficiency services, Interior Designers, Builders, and Material Suppliers.
We can import site information directly for a surveyor, send building layouts directly to engineers, send floor plans and elevations to estimators etc. This allows for quick, accurate design and drafting of projects, minimises mistakes and helps towards the cost effective delivery of projects.
